Managing your subscription

Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your Genuics plan from the Plans & Billing settings.

All subscription management happens in one place: Setup > Organization > Plans & Billing. From here you can upgrade to a higher plan, downgrade to a lower one, or cancel your subscription entirely.

Viewing your current plan

Go to Setup > Organization and click the Plans & Billing tab. At the top of the page you'll see:

  • Your current plan name and price
  • Whether you're on monthly or annual billing
  • Your next billing date
  • Your payment method on file

Upgrading your plan

Upgrading gives you more users, rows, AI messages, and access to additional features. The upgrade takes effect immediately.

  1. Go to Setup > Organization > Plans & Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the plan you want to upgrade to.
  4. If you don't have a payment method on file, enter your credit card details.
  5. Review the price difference. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
  6. Click Confirm Upgrade.

After upgrading:

  • New features (workflows, connectors, audit log) are available immediately
  • Your row and user limits increase right away
  • AI message quota resets to the new plan's allocation

Downgrading your plan

If you need fewer features or want to reduce costs, you can downgrade to a lower plan.

  1. Go to Setup > Organization > Plans & Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the lower plan.
  4. Review what you'll lose - the dialog shows which features and limits change.
  5. Click Confirm Downgrade.

What happens when you downgrade

  • Users over the new limit - you'll need to deactivate users down to the new plan's seat count before the downgrade activates. Genuics warns you if you're over the limit.
  • Rows over the new limit - existing data is preserved, but you won't be able to upload new data until you're under the limit.
  • Features no longer included - workflows, connectors, audit logs, or SSO may become unavailable depending on the plan. Existing configurations are paused (not deleted), so if you upgrade again later, they'll still be there.
  • AI messages - your quota resets to the new plan's allocation at the start of the next cycle.

Switching between monthly and annual billing

  1. Go to Plans & Billing.
  2. Click Change Billing Cycle.
  3. Select Monthly or Annual.
  4. Confirm the change. Annual billing starts on your next billing date.

Switching to annual billing saves up to 17% - see Plans and pricing for the exact savings.

Cancelling your subscription

If you no longer need Genuics, you can cancel your subscription.

  1. Go to Setup > Organization > Plans & Billing.
  2. Click Cancel Subscription.
  3. Tell us why you're leaving (optional - this helps us improve).
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

After cancelling:

  • You keep access until the end of your current billing period
  • Your data stays until the period ends - you can export datasets, reports, and dashboards before then
  • You're moved to Free at the end of the billing period, with Free plan limits applied
  • No further charges are made

Reactivating after cancellation

If you cancelled but changed your mind before the billing period ends, you can reactivate from the same Plans & Billing page. Click Reactivate and your plan continues as if nothing happened - no data lost, no configuration changes.

After the billing period ends and you've been moved to Free, you can upgrade again at any time from Plans & Billing. Your data and settings are preserved as long as your organization exists.
