What Geni can do
Geni can query data, compare segments, detect trends, find drivers, and suggest actions.
Geni isn't just a chatbot - it has a set of analytical tools it uses behind the scenes to answer your questions accurately. Here's what it can do.
Query your data
Geni translates your natural language questions into database queries. Ask things like "How many tickets were created last week?" or "What's the average satisfaction score for Enterprise customers?" and Geni runs the numbers against your actual data.
Compare segments
Ask Geni to compare groups within your data. For example:
- "Compare NPS between North America and Europe"
- "How does the Enterprise segment differ from SMB?"
- "Which product has the highest satisfaction?"
Geni breaks down the metrics for each segment and highlights the differences.
Detect trends
Geni can spot patterns over time:
- "Is our NPS trending up or down?"
- "Show me the monthly trend for support tickets"
- "What changed between Q3 and Q4?"
It analyzes period-over-period changes and identifies significant movements.
Find drivers
This is one of Geni's most powerful capabilities. Ask "What's driving our NPS drop?" or "Why are satisfaction scores lower this month?" and Geni performs a driver analysis - identifying which dimensions (regions, products, customer segments) are contributing most to the change.
Correlate data
Geni can find relationships between columns in your data:
- "Is there a correlation between response time and satisfaction?"
- "Do larger accounts have higher NPS?"
Decompose metrics
When a metric changes, Geni can break down the change to show which sub-segments contributed:
- "Break down the NPS change by region"
- "What explains the increase in ticket volume?"
Retrieve existing insights
If your dataset already has AI-generated insights, Geni can pull them into the conversation. This is useful for asking "What are the key insights for this dataset?" without waiting for a fresh analysis.
What Geni can't do
- Geni can only access data within your current organization and the datasets you have permission to view
- Geni doesn't modify data - it reads and analyzes, but never changes your underlying records
- Geni works best with structured data. For unstructured text analysis, see AI Insights
